Lead THE Cause wouldn’t be the powerful, transformative event that it is without our partners at Sonlife<\/a>. Sonlife is a ministry that trains Christians to go and make disciples, which lines up perfectly with what we do at Dare 2 Share!<\/p>\n

We’re thrilled that Doug Holliday<\/a>, Sonlife’s Executive Director, is joining us again as a speaker for the Lead THE Cause events in Chicago<\/a> and Orange County<\/a>. Here are a few thoughts from Doug on LTC:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Why is it so important for teens to know how to disciple others?<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“Sonlife was birthed 40 years ago out of the conviction that many of Jesus\u2019 initial followers were teenagers. If Jesus started a world-shaking movement 2,000 years ago with teenagers, why should it be any different today? I believe it was, and still is, God\u2019s plan to use teenagers to transform the world for Christ.”<\/p>\n

2. Sonlife<\/span> used to have an event similar to LTC called ‘SEMP’<\/span>. What\u2019s been the biggest benefit of combining efforts with Dare 2 Share?<\/span><\/h3>\n

“SEMP began in the early 90’s as an event to help youth pastors see their S<\/b>tudents E<\/b>quipped to M<\/b>inister to P<\/b>eers. The focus of Lead THE Cause today remains exactly that, and the fruit is undeniable. What Dare 2 Share has brought to strengthen what Sonlife had formerly done with SEMP is simple, clear, easily usable gospel sharing training and tools like the Life In 6 Words app<\/a>, SALT videos<\/a>, and Ask-Admire-Admit<\/a> gospel conversation navigation.”<\/p>\n

3. What’s your favorite part of speaking at LTC?<\/span><\/h3>\n

“As a teenager, I was trained to share my faith and it changed the trajectory of my life. What an incredible privilege to call students to a lifetime of disciple-making!”<\/p>\n
